I don’t do four tier packages with hidden add ons. There are two numbers: one to get the site built, one to keep it running.
Custom design and build on WordPress and Elementor Pro. Homepage, About, Services, Contact, plus one page of your choice usually a second service page or your first local area page. Full on page SEO foundations, schema markup, mobile optimisation, and a live handover session so you know how to edit the site yourself going forward. First month of hosting included free.
Managed WordPress hosting, daily backups, plugin and theme updates, security monitoring, uptime checks, and minor content tweaks. Rolling contract — 30 days' notice to cancel, no 12 month lock-ins, no contracts that need a solicitor to exit.
£150 — Additional pages each (area page or new service)
£50 — Email setup on your domain, one-off
Payment is 50% deposit to start, 50% on launch. That's the full pricing page. No discovery fees, no "strategy retainer", no add-ons I sneak in on the quote.
FAQ
Around four weeks from the discovery call to launch. Faster if you’ve already got your photos, copy and logo ready to send over. Slower if I need to wait for you to get me service photos or work through your list of offerings. Either way, no surprise delays, and you’ll always know what I’m waiting on.
Not always. If your existing site is ranking and already bringing in some leads, I’ll audit it and quote you to improve it rather than rebuild from scratch. Rebuilding a ranking site can kill the traffic you’ve already built up. I’ll tell you honestly which route makes more sense — improvement, rebuild, or leave it alone.
On page SEO foundations are done properly at launch: schema, meta, URLs, performance, site structure. Local ranking then depends on off-page work over time — Google Business Profile activity, reviews, local citations, and fresh content. I’ll set you up with the foundations and tell you exactly what to do next. No guarantees anyone who promises page one rankings is lying.
Yes, and you should. The handover includes a walkthrough of Elementor so you can add service pages, upload job photos, update prices, and change copy without paying me or anyone else. You’re not held hostage by your web guy — I’d rather you knew how to use your own site.
No. I’m in Greater Manchester but work with tradesmen across the whole UK. The discovery call is Zoom or phone, design reviews are shared over a link, the handover is a screen share. Works the same whether you’re in Truro or Thurso.
Your Google Business Profile is genuinely more important than your website for local search, and most tradesmen barely use it. I’ll help you set it up properly or fix the one you have if it’s a mess sync it with your new website, and show you how to post to it weekly. Google offers this for free, and it’s the single highest leverage thing a local tradesman can do online.
